Hi, my name is Zane Lee. Borned and currently residing in Singapore. A little self introduction about myself. I’m someone who enjoys thinking critically, constantly questioning and reasoning with myself and others. In my case, critical thinking is true Philosophy and vice versa. Some of my interests and hobbies include Astronomy and Photography. I’m also what they call a Techie. Other than those, I’m just your everyday, normal teenager. Well, that pretty much just sums up the introduction part.
Now, if you’re wondering on the reason why my blog is named “More than Philosophy”, it’s because the word “Philosophy” is used to define what others think Philosophy is. For example, there are many fields and sub-fields of Philosophy. Personally, I feel that every Philosopher is more than what Philosophy defines, and therefore I named my blog “More than Philosophy”.
I opened this blog for no reason, really. I thought I’d be writing articles in relation to my definition of Philosophy; “True philosophy comes from daily thought and analysis of everything around us” – Friedrich Nietzsche 1844-1900, but I found it hard to write profound essays. At the same time, I didn’t want this to be a personal blog, so the only personal stuff you’ll be seeing will be in my Twitter (twitter updates are located at the top right corner).
Oh well, do drop by once every few months to see if I’ve updated. I’m really busy with school and I don’t have good ideas to write Philosophical posts. If you know me personally, hit me up and chat with me because I talk the talk.
